I see the light!

Last night as I concluded the entries on my fitness pal journal and I saw this!


I was so excited, even though I was under my calories and need to cut back more on carbs (i didn't know I was eating so much carbs) I haven't seen this number in the scale for more than 8 years!

Now for the though part, keep doing working hard....it's easier said than done! 

This morning, I'm tired! didn't get a good sleep last nite...that's not good but I will work as hard as I did yesterday, and eat better.

Enough







There is so much information on how to loose weight that is easy to feel overwhelmed!

  I realized that because it work for my friend doesn't mean is going to work for me too.




 I will highly recommend to research your body type and then go from there. I am an Endo-Ecto (it's ok to fall in between) and therefore my body gains weight easily and is overweight, but it has a slight frame. There is very little muscle on body and flesh tends to look loose and flabby (six week body make over by Michael Thurmonds) therefore my eating plan says in order to loose weight I have to build some muscle. 



I have to eat red meat but because of my very slow metabolism i have to be very careful with my choice of carbs. So I started doing this plan and saw some quick results but then I stopped! (like always)

 
 I began my journey again, and today I downloaded  my fitness pal app...it's amazing! all you have to do is scan your food and it will find it for you!. It also calculates how many calories you should be eating and you can see a calorie breakdown too. Well I though i was doing good, but when I saw that 58% was carbs I was so shocked! Great tool is all I have to say about it!

I will keep you updated on other apps that I am trying out & please share any apps. that you may be using too!

New Beginnings






 I'm not here to create a popular blog, but more like a  motivational/diary blog. See, I'm not the greatest when it comes to loosing weight! NO WILL POWER HERE!..at least not for myself. I usually research and even prepare my husbands meals to help him loose weight, but when it comes to me    I don't know why I can't do it! 
My list of excuses are as follow:
(there is more to the list)

        1. I get tired of preparing 3 diff. meals 
        2. No help when it comes to prepping food
        3. I don't like veggies at all!!!!

...and well the list goes on and on. So reading plenty of successful stories, many of them included a blog where the person was accountable for her daily choices, was able to share her success and failures, and had motivation from others. They also share ideas on food and exercise. I realize that if I keep doing the same thing, I will get the same results soooo I will give this blog a try! Please be patient with me (and my spelling) as I go along this new path.
